Is the line that splits off of the Cedar Lake Sub, runs between Lake Calhoun and Lake of the Isles, and ends at the current light rail line still intact? If so what condition is the track in? If not, when was it torn out? From google earth it looks as if the eastern end does not have any track any more, but not entirely sure. thanks. |

All the track between Bass Lake Yard and Hiawatha Ave. is gone. The line was severed at Hiawatha in 1998. The track remained east of there for a few years but was gone by about 2001 when the city put in the bike trail. That is one piece of track that should still be there, IMO of course. |
