Did you get any pic's. I'll try to find out an exact return route and post it, my gut feeling is that it will not return under its own power (steam) but be pulled by another locomotive.

I incorrectly guessed that it would take the hill (following Amtrak). I sat on the east end of the MNNR yard while it got well ahead of us. |

I knew I should have called you too. Matt thought you were already down in WInona or at least someplace south so I didn't call. When 9:30 came and it wasn't there yet I thought sure I guessed wrong. I hope you caught up with it and got some good PICS. |

No harm. My wife was getting tired of my second guessing. We leap-frogged all the way down to Winona. Caught it at Newport, Redwing (but it was behind grain hoppers, so we continued on), stopped by Frontenac and caught it, then finally in Winona. |
