The BN crane discussed last month is finally at the roundhouse! Unloaded yesterday it now sits by the turntable. Sounds like the head honchos are now figuring what is next in terms of restoration, etc. Want to see it? Come on down any Saturday! If it isn't in the open ask a tour docent and depending on how busy it is they might be able to take you into the yard to see it. |

Cool sounds like a good reason to get over there. |

If you walk up on the Jackson Street bridge you can get a real good view. I was hard pressed for time when I went by today so no PIC, but I did see it sitting there. |

Thanks - they shifted a lot in the yard when it came in so it currently sits with nothing nearby. Made the shot easy, and it helped to the Ben sitting well placed on the ladder track back there... |
