A bit of an update after work today. Everything is still tentative but we now think that we can get a 1-2 year coat of paint on it [in otherwords, it looks good for 1-2 years] before going to Osceola this year and then get it to Horicon for work. Yet we're still going to need funds for that big job [hint, hint]. But hope is on the horizon for a better coat of paint...

So pass the engineeres cap around and try to get some $$$$$ I'd be willing to drop a few bucks on a BN 6234 paint fund.

If you cut a check to the MTM and designate it to the 6234 paint fund it will go there. Our mailing address is on the website I believe.

Stay tuned for updates in the next couple weeks, things are still developing from what I'm hearing so we should know the plan of attack better by the middle of Feb.

An overdue update - 6234 is currently in the paint shop at Horicon. Talking to guys working out there it sounds like it is being prepped right now, paint coats coming soon...
