Myself and another guy who was a member of the GSRM when it first got started went down to the power plant & removed all required under carriage appliances or removed the bolts that held things together. I still remember that night, cold as heck & the wind made us work twice as fast to get things done. We actually wound up going to the Fleet Farm in Hudson, Wisconsin for some tools so we could remove nuts & bolts from the assemblies that secured the trucks to the car body under frame. |
