is this section of the Staples now CTC?? I have been hearing trains clear warrents at ramsey alot today, have not heard one clear a warrent at Coon Creek.

Yep. They cut in the Anoka Northstar station and Coon Rapids Northstar station at MP's 27-ish and 25-ish, respectively into CTC territory so it is full CTC from Northtown-Ramsey now. In the near future, it will be all CTC to Big Lake.

(ATCS-related update coming as well, though we've lost Coon Creek-Interstate to "fiber")

Aaron, its frustrating and really anybody's guess. Supposedly its not set in stone, but we can't 'hear' it until further notice.

Updated Staples Layout and information file has been posted at the ATCS Monitor Yahoo Group.

Now includes the Coon Rapids and Anoka control points. As other control points come on line we'll update the layouts again. I'm hoping to get the better antenna installed this week or next at the Ramsey site. This will be necessary to gert coverage from Elk River to Big Lake.
