UPS does indeed get their trailers from MIDWAY YARD. And bring them there as well. I used to unload them at UPS' EAGAN HUB. UPS has loaded trailers going both directions simultaniously. They recieve trailers from Chicago, and the west coast. And these trailers are unloaded at EAGAN and the MPLS hub at Industrial and Broadway just off HWY 280 next door to NORTHSTAR INTERNATIONAL Trucks. They also unload trailers from RRs that they may have leased. I have unloaded trailers from BNSF, NS, KBS, KCS. Just to name a few. And other than rail, UPS also has "team drivers" that go from hub to hub, i.e. EAGAN-OMAHA-CHICAGO, back to EAGAN. Similar to how the u.s. mail contractors run. I worked for UPS for 9 years unloading freight. And it wasn't a picnic. As UPS is NOT a LTL hauler. They "PACK" those trailers until they are busting at the seams.
