Okay, so today they cut-in the new CTC Anoka and CTC Coon Rapids and were supposed to be "in" by 1500, but it appears they didn't finish totally and the Staples Sub has been shut down virtually the whole day (and night now?). Anyone know what the story is or when this will be back in service? Supposedly the Wayzata Sub was hoppin today.... |

I've heard some trains through St. Cloud at various times today. Maybe just a Becker coal load/empty. |

I'm surprised the OMR land guys aren't slobbering over themselves to see intermodals on the Grand Forks/Lakes Subs. |

Was it totally closed? I heard what was probably Amtrak at its normal 00:40 time. |

Chris, that work window was probably on Wednesday during the day mostly. Based on Braham saying a V-train came down the Hinckley, I would have thought this would have traversed the GF/Lakes route to get there. Sounds like quite a bit of higher priority stuff was detoured via the Wayzata Sub. As of now (or really Thursday early morning sometime), Anoka and Coon Rapids are cut in and traffic is back to normal. |

I was busy at work on Thursday night in Morris, but can confirm three westbounds came through town in about 45 minutes around dinner time. Since we usually only see one (if lucky) westbound in the evening, it would seem that some detour trains came through Morris via Willmar. |
