And Braham, I didn't think we were really talking about hump sets. Those engines will never see the mainline again until they are transferred to a new yard or retired. You can't go out and shoot those engines anywhere, you have to go to certain yards. But, I will reword this. BNSF doesn't even use SD40-2's on the mainlines anymore.

Alright, the original question has been answered and a related discussion has been covered. This thread is closed.

The moral of this thread is: arguing about which model of locomotive you like best gets as much accomplished as who's hotter, blondes or redheads. Heated discussions about which is better, pristine paint on an aging SD9 versus fading scheme on a 2-month-old ACe, get tiresome and tend to lean personal. Voicing your preference for only shooting on sunny days in beautiful scenery, or why a railroad is your favorite is fine; but arguing about someone else's preference is where the line is drawn.

I regret not ending this thread earlier. And in the future, I will intervene when I think the conversation is no longer productive.
