the BNSF rosters seven of these still. based on a quick search I think most of them are in Washington. do they move around much or am I gunna have to travel all the way out there to get a few shots of them????? |

The closest ones are the 6291 and 6295 in Kansas City, KC. A quick check and I count a total of 10 TEBC6s. |

they havent been renumbered to 18xx yet. diesel shop said 7. |

There are five that have been renumbered as 1811, 1812 ex-6290, 1816 ex-6294, 1820 ex-6298, and 1821 ex-6299. |

Before the merger with the SF, the BN at one time had 3 sets of SD38P/TEBC6 stationed at Northtown. They have since re-located these to other yards, I believe the same three sets that were up here were sent down to Argentine Yard. The two that VMV Paducah built with dynamic brakes were originally built for the former SLSF yard I believe down in St. Louis,MO., as the yard was built on a grade. |
