Starting on a light grade, you can have those GE's in throttle 8, and still have time to grab a thermos, pour a cup of coffee, and read the paper before the wheels make one revolution. EMD= Rocket Ship GE= Horse and Buggy |

#7073-7394. 322, ES44DC. Rumored to be on Order, not confirmed. even more Gevo's for everyone. I dont know why but I am biased to the ES44DC's over the ac's. I think its because a 7xxx number looks better then a 6xxx number on the side of the loco how dumb does that sound........ |

per the info on the linked picture, who's author is a RR Employee and a long time fan of mine with some great historical and informational photos. BNSF is about to take delivery of a new model from General Electric. 6600-6624 will be "ES44C4" locomotives. Built as next generation high-speed intermodal units, they will sport A-1-A trucks. http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.p ... 5&nseq=111 someone refresh me on what an A-1-A truck is. |

Tuesday (2/3), I caught the 7202 and 7211 on a Z-CHCSSE at South Seattle. This probably would have been westbound through your area (TC) on 2/1, and possibly eastbound through your area today. Picture of the 7202: http://www.locophotos.com/PhotoDetails. ... toID=99404 If anyone spots new power on a SSE or TAC bound train, please let me know. Thanks, Stan |

It looks like BNSF 7207 went out on Friday night's outbound SSECHC from Seattle. It was sitting at South Seattle (Norfolk) Friday afternoon, and was gone by Saturday morning. If so, this could be through your area on Monday 2/9. Sorry I didn't get the lead unit number for you, weather was crappy so I didn't stop. Maybe someone can get a trace. |

Just heard the BNSF 6602 (ES44C4) giving up their track warrant between Gregory and St. Cloud. |
