Brahamfiremen had pointed out the small pipe and handle on the rear of a Soo caboose on Transfer 1 the other day, I got a shot of it today for those who have not seen one before look inside the yellow circle :D


It is used during reverse moves at crossings and I ran up to Soo line Jct just to hear them blow it kinda cool reminds me of a tea pot.

yes, now that you say tea pot it is very similar it made me laugh. :lol:

I also recall the Hastings crew using one when they go up to the mill and over to the 3M plant in Cottage Grove.
