It looks as if the LRT has got a new car, saw the commercial spotting a flatcar at the Hiawatha ramp with a new LRT car under wraps, ridership must be picking up. |

The stations in challenging locations like the tunnel, Franklin overpass, Lake Street's elevated track, etc. all are 3-car ready but some of the ones at street level aren't yet - till those platforms are lengthened it'll just be two car trains. Just more red-tape, that work should have been done a long time ago but budget cuts put the longer platforms on the "optional" list. Another short sighted move on Met Council's part but par for the course... |
