Hello to everyone, I’ve just joined the TC railfan site. Both myself and Nat will provide info about the ATCS Monitor here in Minnesota and the Fargo area. I’ve posted an ATCS update in the ATCS Blog Archives which has my introduction and some updates. In future Blogs I’ll describe some of the server sites in more detail.

If anyone has questions, please ask.

Also we have been made aware that control point Ramsey will be fully functioning tomorrow, 9/11/2008. Unfortunately, we will not see this on our layout as we don’t have a server/receiver site to pick it up. If anyone can help with a site or potential site in the Anoka, Ramsey, Andover, or Elk River area it would be greatly appreciated. All of the necessary equipment is provided, we just need the site.

As a follow up to my Blog post. Today the host for the Fargo area has the 2nd radio on line for the 160.710 Protocol. 6 new stations are coming in, 5 west of West Fargo and also Hawley, MN.. Our layout will not have the 5 new stations in North Dakota since we are out of screen real estate. If you would like to view that area only (not including the Staples Sub) there are data files and a layout for the KO Sub. posted on the Yahoo web site. Also hopefully this Friday the audio stream will be published on Railroadradio.net. If anyone would like to listen in now, contact me for the temporary feed address.
