Minnesota, No Dakota, IA, and Western WI Updates; Announcing a new server (#20) on the BNSF St. Croix Sub.. We’d like to thank Don, N0DH , along with the Hiawatha Valley Amateur Radio Club for connecting us with the American Red Cross (Goodhue County Chapter) in Red Wing, MN.. The new server is providing coverage for Bay City and Trevino, which now completes the ARES Protocol on the St. Croix Sub.. Credits for this server site: besides Don and the American Red Cross, go to Jeff Pomeroy (Computer) and Joe Lewis for substantial cash donations to help make this possible. There is no change to the layout from the previous posting. The BNSF St Croix Sub monitoring kit is located in the Chicago Division in the Files section. Previously we've had inquiries about radio code line on the Canadian Pacific River Sub.. The CPR is now in the process of installing it on this sub. Currently we know that Donehower to Goodview is on line. It appears the signal/comms. department is working westward hopefully all the way to Hastings, MN.. At the present time there are NO servers available for this line. The Protocol is the standard 900ATCS (897/936.9875). Don Schoenberger |
