http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=303805 D. Kwarciany commented that soon this RS27s will be stored for the winter and the RS18 will be brought out. Why is this? Is there that much difference between models of the same manufacturer? |

They're are stored because they have bulky cab heaters that would have to removed and replaced every season. |

The RS18u had some parts swapped and put into one of the RS27s, so it may take longer than usual before the 27s get stowed away this year. Bad for the crews, good for the photographers. |
