For the last couple weeks I've noticed that there has been a fluctuating number of covered hoppers parked along side the former asphalt recycler site (which has since been closed and the land readied for redevelopment) in New Brighton, immediately south of Long Lake Park. I can't think of any customers on the line up that way that receive covered hoppers. Anybody know why they are there? They can't be in storage, because the cars keep changing. |

The 1971 was switching some out up there yesterday (Sunday). If I would have known it was of interest I would have jumped out to see what kind of hoppers they have sitting there. Are they plastic pellet cars? |
