They make a stop at Western Ave. at least 2 or three times a week. When they do the setout the crew shoves the whole train into the yard and makes the setout and then continues onto St. Paul Yard. When they do the pickup they do it just like you described. They have been getting back to Hopkins later the past month or so. Lucky if they show up before 1730 and usually later than 1900. I guess that's to be expected with the longer trains though. Did anyone happen to notice which GP10 was on the train today? I think the AEI tags on both GP10s is broken. Yeah, saw the GP10 yesterday when it was over by Amtrak. I'm pretty sure it was 406 on the train yesterday. |

The St. Paul Turn will be running late again today. It's a little after 0900 and they aren't even back in Hopkins from Glencoe yet. Wish it was sunny... |
