No clue, I see the pics where taken yesterday so we will keep our eyes open along the spine from Mason City on north to see if we can find them. |

Its an old Kennecott Copper engine with the tall cabs and shallow fuel tanks. If I am correct the gp39 they have been leasing as of late is one also only it has been rebuilt with a shorter cab. I am sure the TCW could use the extra power after having to lease some last winter bvecause of mech problems |

As of 2300 7/14 the units are in the KCS Knoche yard in Kansas City, it looks as if they may be heading to Mid America car next. |

They're on their way to get rebuilt. Supposedly, they will arrive on TCW property sometime this fall. |

No, but I will shortly. If it was up to me, I'd give a thumbs down. Something only a mother could love. http://rrpicturearchives.net/showPictur ... id=1498365 |

It should still be a GP39-2. Yup, it is quite ugly, butchered the nose/numberboard housing once again. Just like some of the Milwaukee Geeps..... Alec |

Thanks for the info Mike, we'll have to keep an eye out at Pig's Eye for there arrival. I would assume they will arrive via the UP and than get transfered to the CP or the TCW will pick up direct from the UP at Western Ave. Hmm the answer will come soon enough. |

Much to my surprise the new units arrived today. Last I heard they were still in KC on 3/11 but this morning I got a call saying they were here. Both units DIT to Glencoe. |
