I noticed a couple short tank cars, the type that hauls salt used to keep highways ice-free in winter, stored on a spur in Wegdahl last week. Wegdahl appears not to be a current station on the TCWR, though there are concrete foundations where grain bins look like they were once in place.

I'm curious to know about those tank cars and whether the metal shed at Wegdahl suggest that the cars are/were unloaded here or whether there's a team track in nearby Montevideo that may have been or near a transloading site.
