Well it looks as if the CNW hertiage uniy is on its way to Shakopee. Per the DRGW site the ETA is 19:03 10/18/06 keep your eyes peeled or an ear to the scanner, good luck to any and all who go on the hunt.

I found the unit on the Altoona sub waiting for the UP Triplecrown train to cross in front of it. Not having a camera I stopped in the local drug store and picked up a digital one time use camera. By the time I got back it was on the move. I chased it down to the Omaha bridge and got several shots (comin later). It reversed twice into the UP Western Ave yard and I had to give up the chase at that time. By 12:30 I talked to MM who is now chasing it down the Mankato sub. It should be in the Shakopee yard sometime this afternoon.

Well maybe by this evening, I saw him backing into the western Ave yard and waited for abit for him to make his way back out and across the bridge. I got a bad feeling when the yard cab arrived empty and left with three passengers. I managed to get some shots of her from above the western yard where she remains tied down as of 14:00.

If I remember the last time it was up it did turn around the next day on the VPPR so if we are lucky it will be heading into the sun as it runs the Altoona

Anyone catch it - aside from X? I didn't get out as early in the day as I would have liked and couldn't make it to Valley Park. I did stop by Pig's Eye but CP MoW crews were all over.
