Caught a couple hour late Empire Builder this morning. It was lead by a BNSF SD40-2 for the second time this week. http://www.morris.umn.edu/~vandenbm/ind ... kbnsf.html It was interesting that both Amtrak locomotives were reversed and the baggage car was on the rear of the train. I'm wondering if it's set up this way because they couldn't turn the train out west when it arrived from Chicago. I know the trains are stopping at Edmunds, WA because of all the washouts near Seattle and Portland. Mike |
