OK I've got questions and I'm sure this knowledgeable group will provide the answers.

I thought the Amtrak came in through Northtown and then the BNSF Midway Sub before exiting through the Minnesota Comercial Yard to get to the station.

This photo shows them comming off of what I thought was MC line into Roseville.

Where do they get on that line and is this the normal way?

At Park Junction, there is a track that splits off from from the ex-NP line to Saint Paul, (now BNSF) and connects with the MNNR line to New Brighton. The Pentrex movie "Hot rails through the Twin Cities"shows an Amtrak train doing that. I'm not sure if this is there normal way or not, but maybe someone else knows.
