That view doesn't do justice to what it is like to ride Amtrak... especially along the Mississippi River. I'll be doing such activity on Thursday morning... can't wait! |

At 1:12 you can see the old Newport tower. to bad the guy cut it off it gets super scenic once you get to the river. main 1 is even better, they took main 2 in the video. When I too the Amtrak on Jan 2nd they were 6-8 hours late and had canceled all stops east of MSP so I got to ride a SUPER RARE ride, we took the BNSF side of the river all the way to Savanna ILL then went over to CHI, to bad it got dark just after La Crosse. |
