Throughout my search for models (and a better bang for my buck) I've run into some great hobby shops. Here are the names and locations of some of those. Becker's Model Railroad Supply-Best Hobby Shop for discounts . 2166 Silver Lake Road NW, New Brighton, MN, 55112 Scale Model Supplies-Great for the more unusual models 458 Lexington Parkway, St. Paul, MN 55104-4609 The entrace is at the corner of the building next to the parking lot, and down the stairs. Hobby Town USA, Woodbury Valley Creek Mall, 1750 Weir Dr, Woodbury, MN 55125 Box-Kar Hobbies-a Rock Island Modelers Paradice Town & Country Shopping Center, 3655-A 1st Ave. S.E. Cedar Rapids, IA NOTE: I model in HO Scale, these stores are listed because of their HO Scale stock) If you know of any others, please list them. |

I really wish Scale Model Supply's prices were better, but they have damn near anything you'd ever want in stock (in N scale anyway). |

My favorite is Beckers... followed by Boone (IA) Hobbies... then Hub Hobby in Little Canada... if it something I can't get at Beckers I normally pick up at Scale Model Supplies, but their stiff prices tend to keep me away. Carrs is pretty good, but is kinda "dark". |
