Units 503, 505 were reported at Valley Park on Tuesday or Weds I believe. Anyone see them go across town to Big Lake yet?

Units are 503,504 and 505 last seen at East Minneapolis yesterday, (the only place I did not look for them) I would think they will be heading to NTW today if the UP is running the transfer over to the BNSF.

They turned the 502 so it faces west like the others, my guess is that this is the final turning for the units so that would put them in "push" mode on runs to Minneapolis and "pull" mode back to Big Lake.

Actually it will be four train sets. In the morning the first train will run to Mpls, then be the reverse commute, then cover the last train [5th] back to downtown. Meanwhile the other three train sets have made their run as the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th inbound train. Intersting side note - according to the proposed schedule the reverse commute will meet a normal train at Anoka each way...

Ahh, okay. That makes sense. So there will be an extra locomotive at Big Lake. I was wondering what they would do if they lost an engine while running five trains :?
