First up the CP has been taking a few extra $$ and painting some of their units, Soo 4403 & 4452 have both been repainted into the newest CP scheme and retain their numbers. Soo 2026 one of the few GP40 Bandit units has also been repainted and renumbered to CP 4612 so keep your eyes open for her on the rails. And last the CP has retired their first AC44CW, locomotive 8644 was involved in a wreck along with CP 8814 and one other unit which was not badley damaged, the Gevo was fixed and is back on the rails but sadly the 8644 was too far gone and had to be scraped, a second AC44CW 9733 has been on a dead track in Calgary for almost a year and may be the second AC44CW to go. In addition close to 20 CP SD40-2's have been retired in the past three months, along with leased CEFX/CITX units have been scaled back so leased power on the CP will be lacking for a bit.

More Soo engines going away wish I had more time to some down and shoot them all before there gone.

Looks like our fears that the ICE and DME wont dissappear might come true after a few years too......

All 61 CP SD90/43MACs (9100-9160) have been placed into storage, as well.

Not much news here, looks like no CP units have waived good bye in the past few weeks, actually one "new CP" unit was been added to the roster but at the expense of the Soo Bandit 2032, now painted and numbered CP 4613. Kepp them cameras clicking and hope for warmer weather soon.

Two fresh Geeps were at Saint Paul today, the CP 4613 (former SOO 2032) and the CP 4432 (former SOO 4432). CP 779 was near the roundhouse getting a check up also.
