While on the way home from Northtown tonight on the BNSF 8239, I noticed a black ford truck with hillbilly exhaust stacks running on the highway next to us. I'm thinking it was the Braham Fireman! I blew the whistle a few times, cause I figured it was you.

A junk train, with junk power. The worst piece of crap they had, they put on the lead. Lucky me! Where's the picture! I think you shot me in Grasston.

Yep that was me I was actualy in the cities most of the day, happened to catch your tail end in cambridge on the way home and finaly chased you down in Grasston. I had shot the leader years ago and only needed the two trailing units. I figured something was up when I heard the whistle. I took the radio out of the truck for the time being so if you said anything I didn't hear it.

what I noticed on the rails was that everyone thought everything was junk. even the "junk" train was over half new cars. the BNSF bought ALOT of new ore cars fall of '08/ winter of '09 so they were only a year old.

That train only "looks" nice. They are beat up, even if they have pretty paint. The engine I was running was garbage. The window visors were broken and bouncing on the mirror, it rattled so damn loud, I could barely hear the radio. The horn sounded like it was inside the cab because of the window seals or lack thereof. Parts of the control panel was duct taped to stop it from rattling, and those cruddy heaters blow cold air.

Now I know you guys love trains, and a I do also, to a certain extent. They are fun to watch, take pictures, etc. so when I say something about "junk", I don't mean it the way it sounds. You would have to actually run one to see how bad the power was, and how poorly the braking systems on those tac cars really are.
