Minnesota, No Dakota, IA, and Western WI Update;
We’ve lost our internet connection at the former Little Falls, MN. AT&T tower site. It appears that Quest finally pulled the plug on the previous account holder as of about 6:30 CST last night. Apparently when the DSL line was run into the building they only "pulled" one pair. Therefore, there is no second set or second number that can be used for another account. My understanding is they first had to disable the existing account (which was never paid and is at $1,200.00+ in the arrears). We had anticipated this was going to happen, and we are working on getting our own account using the existing line.
This affects ATCS coverage on the BNSF Staples Sub from Becker to Staples. Some indications and controls will be seen as other sites do have some overlap coverage. Also affected(off line) is the RailroadRadio.net Staples voice feed.
