I railfanned down in Hastings on two different days and never did get the shot I was after. Day one all I got was this before the sun went down.
On my next trip down I found these waiting to cross the bridge (which was the shot I was after). The reason they were held up was this comming up River. If you look close you'll find a train in that PIC. Here's the proof. I missed the engine by about . I figured as soon as the Tug was gone they would cross, but I finally shot before what sun there was, was gone. Day two was not an entire bust as I got these two posted.

I read of all the problems you had with the two RP photos. Glad you got them in.

I have never seen the bridge up, or had the pleasure of delayed rail traffic in Hastings.
