This is what happens when your waiting for WBs when the sun is setting and a string of EBs keep coming by. Bordum sets in and rather then shoot another typical backlit shot I did this.

I did finally manage to see a WB before the sun went down. This train was definitley struggling to get upgrade, it was really working hard. The white tank cars all said "Calcium Carbonate or Clay Slurry Only" I've never seen these before and they must have been full. Anyone know where they came from or where there going?

I'll take a guess and say it was the Memphis-Northtown train. When I've seen the Northtown-Memphis at University, it usually had 8-12 empty calcium carbonate or clay slurry cars on it, so it would make sense if those were the loads returning.

there are always 20 or so on the NTWSUP they must go up there for the tac plant. I saw a thing on cable a few weeks ago on how they make taconite and iron ore and they use water and mud basicaly and they sift off the iron on top of the mix, I would guess they head north for that.

Geez - shows what I know I had heard only one got the "new" colors, glad at least a couple got it. They add some good variety to the area...
