At the end of SE 14th Avenue over by the U of MN campus, there is a pedestrian footbridge over the old GN line towards MPLS Junction. I used to shoot video and film off of this bridge back in the early 90's. It's still a good place to shoot, especially with a telephoto, because you can get Union tower in the shot looking east, and looking west that high rise apartment building over on Central Avenue. It's easy to get a tad misty-eyed and envision a trio of SD9's in Big Sky Blue or Pullman Green/Omaha Orange yanking loaded ore jennies down past Bunge. Check the spot out- it might work for ya.
