Do you think KCS is hurting for motive power? Rushing units out of the factory without paint and I only thought NS did that

The SD70MAC on the flatcar is from the crash in Motley. The switch was left lined for the siding, and then the train smashed into a string of Railbox cars. There were at least 150 Railbox cars there which had been in the siding for upwards of 2 years due to the slow lumber/housing market.

Anyone know where that locomotive is going or its fate?

I remember seeing those railbox cars when I drove up to DL last summer. I was wondering what those string of cars was for. Aren't those switches automatically lined for the main after something heads into the siding? They use those switches on the Hinckley Sub.

Weel the unit on the flat car that day has been repaired and is back on the rails, for those keeping track of NSF units in the "New" scheme you can add it to the list 9846 was seen over the weekend on CP-885 sporting her new paint job.

That marking on the SOO unit must be old, because CP is now Canadian Pacific not CP Rail.
