I didn't see a great number of trains today, but I still enjoyed the time I spent out and about.
I went to Hoffman to see what was there.
A couple GCFX SD40s by the shops:

Then what seemed like an eternity before a very short(20-25 cars) CP intermodal showed up:

A couple minutes later a BNSF mixed freight passed by:

On a whim I decided to follow it down river, getting ahead of it at Diamond Bluff, WI:

Then it was over to Red Wing for lunch trackside. The Empire pulled into the station at 2:07pm, about five and a half hours late:
