This day was full of great sights. headed for Prescott to see what was going on not much so I decided to head for Alma to catch a coal train. Along the way I stoped to photo as many station signs I could. I caught a glimps of the Loram grinder heading west in Stockholm but I have had my fill of pics of him so I continued on. In Dimond Bluff there was the tail end of a Z train that had just set out a bad order car on the siding, speedig ahead to try and catch the lead end I arrived at Bay City just in time to catch a meet with a west bound Z train lead by the Z basic Dash 9, SD40-2 and a GP60B. Traveling farther south I meet up with another west bound Z train this time in Nelson again lead by Dash 9 power. I dont know what to call it but it was half Alma coal loads and half Alma coal empties lead by EMDX9056 plus two going around the circle at the plant. The last train I would see in WI was the NTWMEM at Winona JCT this is where the double track turns to single heading south to La Crosse. I hop on over back to MN and head north on 61 stopping to catch south bound (east) Soo SD60 6038 in Minnesota city. Stopping to see the Eagles in Red Wing (must have seen close to 80+ today) I got a few pics of east bound CP 8625 and CEFX 1016. The sun was starting to play hide n seek in the clouds so I decieded to head for home, but waht there is still a small sliver of light one last stop at Pig's eye in time to catch a east bound UP coal, the setting sun refelcting on the sides of the cars was the perfect ending shot for a perfect day of chasing.
