Stationsign Wayzata Authored and compiled by:Aaron
Railfan notes: A beautiful area of the westside of the metro that is on the waterfront. Parking is ample. Two lots are near-by: along the Wayzata sub; and in the Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber of Commerce is a renovated railroad depot. There are several pieces of rail memorabilia on the grounds, as well as some placards with history.

West of the former depot is a signal for westbound traffic. Just a little further, out of view from the Chamber, is a siding since the Wayzata sub is single-tracked.

Sunsets restaurant can be seen in the background.
Photography info: For the serious photographer, you will need to be creative! One side of the tracks is water, so a boat or ice will be required for landscape shots. Afternoon lends the best light for the 3/4 wedgie shot from the docks.
