A Union Pacific coal train derails at Station Sign Jackson St. The clean up is caught by Xrayguy.
Photo 1/11 The last 13 cars of this UP coal train derailed about 6:00AM. The train was heading for the NSP coal plant in Bayport, MN coming off of the BNSF Midway Sub and onto the UP Altoona Sub.
Photo 2/11 Front end loaders and bobcats begin the cleanup of spilled coal.
Photo 3/11 This car is ready to be dumped upside down and hauled away by the machine you see in the foreground.
Photo 4/11 The shovel pulls the car half way over.
Photo 5/11 And finally all the way over.
Photo 6/11 Two machines lift the car off the ground
Photo 7/11 It is moved away from the track area.
Photo 8/11 This process continues until all 13 cars are lying upside down away from the main track.
